Shaun Thomas

Chief of Staff

Shaun Thomas is a retired Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt) of the United States Air Force with over 22 years of distinguished service. Throughout his military career, he served as a surveillance operator on the E-3 AWACS, accumulating more than 4,000 flight hours in airborne command and control operations supporting global missions.

During his time in the Air Force, Shaun held multiple senior leadership roles, including Squadron Superintendent and Senior Enlisted Leader, where he led large teams, managed multi-million-dollar resources, and ensured mission readiness across complex organizations . He built a reputation for driving process improvements, improving operational efficiency, and executing effectively in high-demand environments.

Following his military retirement, Shaun transitioned into civilian leadership roles, first serving as a Senior HR Business Partner at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he supported large, complex organizations and partnered with senior leadership on workforce strategy and performance management. He later joined The Boeing Company as a Systems Engineer Analyst on the Wedgetail program, contributing to systems engineering and program execution efforts in support of advanced airborne surveillance capabilities.

Today, Shaun continues to apply his leadership and operational expertise in both corporate and nonprofit environments, focusing on building sustainable systems, improving organizational effectiveness, and enabling data-driven decision-making. He brings a disciplined, mission-focused approach with a strong emphasis on execution, accountability, and team development.
